Hamm Hearing Aid Center Opens Their Doors At a New Location!

New doors open for a renowned hearing aid center. WILMINGTON, N.C. (CAPE FEAR WEEKEND) – Hamm Hearing Aid Center, a beacon of hope for patients in Eastern North Carolina since 2001, celebrated the inauguration of their new premises on Wednesday.

Previously situated near the New Hanover Region Medical Center on S 17th Street, where a Wawa gas station is slated to be constructed, they have now relocated to The Point. This new location offers the convenience of proximity to a variety of shops, eateries, and other healthcare professionals.

John Clell Hamm, the proprietor of Hamm Hearing Aid Center, ensured a seamless transition for his patients, moving locations over a single weekend. He bid farewell to his last patient at the old location on a Friday and welcomed his first at the new building on the following Monday.

During the inauguration ceremony, Hamm expressed his enthusiasm about the evolution of his business, which he feels surpasses the excitement he felt when he first started his practice. Over the years, he has carved a niche for himself in the hearing industry and expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported him, including his friends, family, patients, and staff. What sets this hearing aid center apart is its dual role as a fine art exhibit. The North Carolina Gallery of Fine Art, specializing in museum-quality art from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, is housed within the same premises. Their standout exhibit is the “Face of Lincoln” bronze sculpture by Robert Merrell Gage. The gallery also offers art restoration services for paintings and frames, art appraisals, and professional curation of small private and business art collections.
